Cove Coffee is an artisanal pour-over coffee system created by Garnett Martin (industrial design) and Kayma Jacobs (communication design). Over fifteen weeks, the two crafted the system by combining their skills to develop the brand, packaging and physical product— producing eighteen prototypes sold at the University of Cincinnati’s ADAAPT retail space in Findlay Market. With no prior ceramics and industrial experience, I had to quickly learn throughout the process, making this one of the most challenging and rewarding projects I’ve completed!
